For over twenty-five years, Rich has acted as national coverage, claims and trial counsel to domestic and international insurers.  Rich has extensive experience in insurance coverage issues involving a wide variety of policies, including professional liability, directors and officers liability, employment practices liability, environmental liability, commercial general liability, property, inland marine, transportation, homeowners, auto, excess and umbrella.

Rich has litigated matters in state and federal jurisdictions nationwide, addressing a wide-array of topics, including additional insured coverage, construction defect, contractor liability, equitable contribution, pollution liability, premises liability, product liability, toxic tort, arson, fraud and false swearing and extra-contractual exposure.

Rich has handled a multitude of complex first and third-party insurance coverage matters and declaratory judgment actions through dispositive motion, trial and appeal.  Rich has also obtained excellent results for clients in a diverse range of alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including both non-binding and binding arbitration and mediation in forums nationwide.  Rich advises underwriters on policy wording and drafts policy forms and endorsements.
